Snails and Slugs in the Rose Garden

There are many snails and slugs that feed on roses. Many are native snails only known to certain areas while there are a few imported snails that can cause damage to our roses.

SNAILS

SLUGS


One of the several pest slugs in northern California. It is often found under potted roses


Hawaiian slug commonly found under potted roses, boards, rocks, etc. in Hilo, Hawaii.

CONTROL METHODS
